Dr. Douglas E. Haynes has devoted more than five decades to the study and proclamation of the sanctuary message. His ministry began in the local church and has expanded to reach students, pastors, and congregations around the world.
With a PhD in Theology, a Master of Theology degree, and a Bachelor of Theology, Dr. Haynes brings rigorous academic scholarship to bear on the most sacred themes of Scripture. His research into the sanctuary’s role in worship, prophecy, and the plan of salvation has produced a body of work that is both accessible and deeply reverent.
As the founder of HAGION International Ministries (H.I.M.), Dr. Haynes created a platform to share the sanctuary message with a global audience. The ministry’s flagship curriculum, “Sanctuary In The Service,” is a 52-lesson video series that traces every element of the worship service back to its sanctuary origin.

Dr. Haynes’ post-doctoral research identifies the number 27 as a consistent biblical pattern signifying divine completion and order. From the 27 books of the New Testament to the 27th generation from Adam to David, and the structural patterns found throughout Old Testament typology, “The Principle of 27” reveals a deliberate design thread woven through Scripture.
